Which plan you would actually be on
- Monthly subscription at £1 per month is the tier that covers charged per moneybox account, not per investment account.
- Platform fee at 0.45% a year per aum is the tier that covers applies to all investment account types.
- Fund provider charges at Varies by fund per aum is the tier that covers set by the fund provider, for example 0.17% on a balanced allocation.
Moneybox suits people starting to invest who want the round-up habit and a lifetime isa in the same app, so that is the lens to pick a tier through.

Where Delphina fits
Delphina's Free plan is £0 with no time limit and no card. Wealth Builder is £9.99 a month, Investor £19.99, both billed in pounds.
Moneybox is a good place to actually hold a UK ISA or LISA, and Delphina is not a place to hold anything. If you want round-ups and a Lifetime ISA, use Moneybox. What it cannot do is look across every account you hold, model UK tax and pension rules over thirty years and tell you whether your contributions land you where you want to be. Plenty of people sensibly use both.

Moneybox: common questions
Moneybox costs £1 per month. Prices were checked on 21 July 2026.
No. Moneybox has no free tier, so the cheapest way in is £1 per month.
The decision-relevant difference is that Platform fee adds applies to all investment account types. Monthly subscription covers charged per moneybox account, not per investment account.
There are cheaper tools in the investing category, though most trade away something Moneybox does well. Delphina has a free tier at £0 with no card and no expiry, and Wealth Builder at £9.99 a month; the trade-off is that it is built around UK pensions, ISAs and tax rather than the job Moneybox does for people starting to invest who want the round-up habit and a lifetime isa in the same app.
