Costs that are not on the price list
These do not show up when you sign up, but they show up on your statement.
- Hidden cost: There is no free plan to fall back to, so keeping access after the trial means paying
- Hidden cost: Paying monthly costs about 20% more over a year than paying annually
- Hidden cost: Quartz is not a financial adviser, so any regulated advice you want on what it shows you is a separate cost

What you are paying for
For people with savings, isas, pensions and investments spread across several platforms who want one connected view of how that wealth is really performing, that is a fair price. Broad Open Banking coverage, with 250+ connections across UK banks, investment platforms such as Vanguard, Fidelity, AJ Bell and Trading 212, pension providers such as Aviva, Legal & General and NEST, and Coinbase for crypto. Imports full transaction history from the day each account was opened, so it can calculate a true return after fees, currency, income and inflation rather than just showing today's balance.
A five year total always looks large written down. Judge it against what the tool actually changes, not against the headline on its own.

This page is about the running total. For the tier structure and what each plan includes, see Quartz pricing.
The same five years on Delphina
Delphina's Free plan is £0 for as long as you want it, no card. Wealth Builder is £9.99 a month, so five years is £599.40 if you stay on it the whole time, billed in pounds with no FX fee.
Quartz is a well-built answer to the question of how your wealth is doing right now, with genuinely useful true-return and fee analysis and an assistant to talk it through. What it does not set out to answer is where that wealth is heading. Delphina is built around that second question: you add your UK accounts yourself, and it projects your cash flow up to 30 years ahead with UK pensions, ISAs and tax modelled in, at Free, £9.99 a month on Wealth Builder or £19.99 a month on Investor. Nothing here is advice.

Quartz: common questions
It is worth it for people with savings, isas, pensions and investments spread across several platforms who want one connected view of how that wealth is really performing. It is a poor buy for anyone who needs no free plan. after a 14-day trial it costs £16.99 a month or £169.99 a year, which is at the top end for a uk money app, because that is not what it is built to do.
3 things are not on the pricing page: there is no free plan to fall back to, so keeping access after the trial means paying; paying monthly costs about 20% more over a year than paying annually; quartz is not a financial adviser, so any regulated advice you want on what it shows you is a separate cost.
Priced in sterling. Quartz states there are no hidden charges, no commissions and no percentage taken from your assets. Any pound figure is an approximation at the exchange rate on the day, and that rate moves, so treat it as a guide rather than a fixed price.
Quartz advertises a 14-day free trial, after which you choose £16.99 a month or £169.99 a year. Its site does not say whether a card is needed to start the trial, so check before you sign up. The app launched on an invitation-only waitlist, so access may not be immediate.
£169.99 a year against £203.88 billed monthly, about 17% off, via annual billing. Requires paying twelve months up front. We found no public promo code..
Free tools in this category generally give up either the depth or the account connections. Delphina's free tier gives up the deeper scenario modelling that the paid plans carry, but costs £0 with no card and no expiry.
