How this review was written: Delphina makes a competing product, so read this with that in mind. Quartz is rolling out by invitation, so this review is based on Quartz's own website, its App Store listing and launch coverage, checked on 25 September 2026. It is not a hands-on test. Nothing here is financial advice.

What Quartz Does

Quartz brings your current accounts, savings, ISAs, pensions, investment platforms, crypto and property into one app. It connects through regulated Open Banking, using Yapily, and covers the big UK banks, platforms such as Vanguard, Fidelity, AJ Bell and Trading 212, and pension providers such as Aviva, Legal & General and NEST.

The more interesting part is what it does with that data. Quartz imports your full transaction history from the day each account was opened, which lets it calculate a true return after fees, currency, income and inflation, rather than just showing today's balance. Charlie, the AI assistant, then answers questions about your returns, the fees you are paying, how your wealth is allocated and what is moving your holdings.

It also helps you find old pension pots and think about consolidating them. It charges a flat subscription, with no commission and no percentage of your assets, so the fee does not grow as your wealth does.

Who Is Behind Quartz

Quartz Digital Ltd was founded in 2025 by André Silva, formerly Head of Global Expansion at Revolut, and Mateus Mesquita Alves, formerly Investment Product Lead at N26. It launched in the UK on 16 September 2026 with £2.75 million of pre-seed funding led by Daphni, with Outward VC and K Fund also investing.

What We Like

  • True returns after fees. Most people have no idea what their pension or ISA has really returned once charges are taken out. Showing that is genuinely valuable.
  • Broad coverage. Banks, platforms, pensions and crypto in one place is exactly what people with money spread around want.
  • A flat fee. No percentage of assets means the cost stays the same as you grow.
  • Clear about its limits. Quartz says plainly that it is not a financial adviser, does not hold your money and does not let you trade.

What to Weigh Up

  • No free plan. After the 14-day trial it is £16.99 a month or £169.99 a year, which is at the top end for a UK money app.
  • It looks at today, not tomorrow. At the time of writing Quartz does not advertise forecasts, retirement projections or scenario modelling. It tells you how your wealth is doing, not whether it will be enough.
  • Not a budgeting app. Quartz describes its focus as your wealth as a whole rather than day-to-day spending.
  • Very new. It is rolling out by invitation and has no public user ratings yet, so there is no track record to judge it on.
  • Open Banking access. It works by connecting your accounts, so it suits people comfortable granting that access.

What Users Are Saying

Not much yet, and that is worth knowing. Quartz is listed on the UK App Store as Quartz Wealth but had no ratings when we checked on 25 September 2026. Be wary of any review site quoting a star rating for it this early. We will update this page once there is real user feedback to report.

Our Verdict

Quartz is a well-thought-through wealth tracker for people with money spread across several platforms who want to know how it is really performing and what it is costing them. If your question is instead whether your money will be enough, and when you could stop working, you need a forecast rather than a snapshot. That is the gap Delphina is built for.

Quartz Alternatives

If Quartz is not quite right, we have compared it head to head with Delphina, and rounded up five alternatives covering free wealth trackers, cash flow forecasting and spending apps.
