Connect AI assistants to your Delphina financial data

What is Agentic Finance?

Agentic Finance means connecting AI assistants (like Claude or ChatGPT) to your Delphina account so they can see your financial data and help you make better decisions.

Instead of manually checking your portfolio, running calculations, or figuring out if you're on track for retirement — you can ask an AI agent to do it for you. The AI can access your real financial data, run Monte Carlo simulations, and give you personalized advice.

Prerequisites

Agentic Finance requires the Investor tier (£19.99/month). This feature is not available on the Free or Wealth Builder plans. View pricing →

Getting Your API Key

1Log into your Delphina account at delphina.money
2Go to Settings (click your profile icon in the top right)
3Find API Keys in the sidebar
4Click Generate New Key and give it a name (e.g., "Claude")
5Copy your API key — you'll need it to connect AI assistants

Keep your API key safe — it gives access to your financial data. Never share it or commit it to code.

Connecting Claude (MCP)

Claude can connect to Delphina using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Add this to your Claude configuration:

Connecting ChatGPT (GPT Actions)

ChatGPT can connect to Delphina using GPT Actions. Here's how to set it up:

1In ChatGPT, go to My GPTs → Create a GPT
2Go to the Actions tab
3Import the Delphina API schema from api.delphina.co.uk/openapi.json
4Add your API key in the Authentication section
5Set API Key as the auth type with your Delphina API key

Once connected, try asking your AI assistant these questions:

"What's my current financial situation? Can you summarize my assets, income, and expenses?"

"I want to retire at 60 with £1 million. Am I on track?"

"Run a Monte Carlo simulation to see my probability of reaching my retirement goal."

"Should I prioritise paying into my pension or my ISA based on my current situation?"

"What would happen if I increased my monthly pension contribution by £200?"

Your Data is Secure

Read-only access — AI assistants can read your data but cannot make changes
Your API key only — Each connection uses your personal API key tied to your account
No data stored — Delphina doesn't store data from AI queries
Revoke anytime — You can delete your API key in Settings at any time

Test It Now (ELI5)

Follow these steps to add your Delphina data to an AI assistant. Choose Claude or ChatGPT:

Option 1: Claude (Recommended)

Get your API key — Settings → API Keys → Copy it
Open Claude — Go to claude.ai
Click Settings (bottom left) → Extensions
Click "Add extension"
Name it: Delphina
URL: https://api.delphina.co.uk/mcp
Header: X-API-Key
Value: Paste your API key
Click Connect
Try asking: "What is my Delphina user profile?"

Option 2: ChatGPT

Get your API key — Settings → API Keys → Copy it
Open ChatGPT — Go to chat.openai.com
Click "My GPTs" → Create a GPT
Go to "Actions" tab
Click "Import from URL"
Paste: https://api.delphina.co.uk/openapi.json
Under Authentication: Select API Key
Paste your API key
Save the GPT
Try asking: "What is my Delphina user profile?"

Option 3: Test with curl (for developers)

Run this in your terminal:
